Stellar Focus keeps your sessions and your galaxy on your phone. Because the app needs an account, it also keeps a backup of that data in your account, so you can restore it on a new phone. We do not sell your data, and the app has no ads, analytics or tracking.
Stellar Focus is an Android app made by Kerem Mert, who publishes it on Google Play as Kerch Labs. In this policy, "we" means Kerch Labs. Questions about your data go to stellarfocus.support@gmail.com.
The app keeps the following in a database on your phone:
You need an account to use Stellar Focus. Accounts are stored by Supabase, the service we use for sign-in and for our database. Your account contains:
We use the information Google shares only to create and run your Stellar Focus account. We do not share it with anyone or use it for advertising.
When you create an account, the app asks for your date of birth to check that you are at least 13. The check happens on your phone. The date is not stored, and it is not sent to us.
While you are signed in, the app copies this data to your account:
The backup lets you get your galaxy back when you sign in on a new phone.
When a session starts, the app sends its planned length and start time to our server. When it ends, the app asks the server to confirm it. We use these checks only to stop rewards for sessions that did not happen. If the server cannot be reached, you keep your reward.
The current version does not block other apps. If we add app blocking, we will update this policy before that version is released.
We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not sell it.
We use your account and backup data to provide the app you signed up for, including restoring your galaxy on a new phone (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We use session checks to keep rewards fair, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
To delete the data on your phone, use Settings → Reset All Data in the app, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. This does not delete your cloud backup.
To delete your account and everything stored with it, use Settings → Request Account Deletion in the app, follow the steps on the account deletion page, or email us. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
Stellar Focus is not meant for children under 13, and the app does not let them create an account. If you think a child under 13 has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Data travels between the app and Supabase over an encrypted connection. Database rules let each account read and write only its own data. Data on your phone is protected by Android's app sandbox and device encryption, and the app does not add its own encryption on top.
If you live in the EU or the UK, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for it in a portable format. You can also complain to a data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email us. We answer within 30 days.
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects what data leaves your phone, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
